Kuala Lumpur means "muddy confluence" in Malay; Kuala is the point where two rivers join or an estuary, and lumpur means "mud". Nearly 8 million people live in the Klang Valley.

Delhi

Delhi, a megacity and the capital of India. Straddling the Yamuna river, Delhi city proper population was over 11 million, According to the World Air Quality Report 2024, Delhi remains the world's most polluted capital city.
